There are many reasons for stress in the classroom. One of the major reasons is parental expectation. Parents have high expectations from their children that they may not be able to achieve.

They expect their children to study well, to be poised and self-confident, to make friends easily, etc. But as a result of these expectations, kids develop a sense of pressure and anxiety which can sometimes lead them to act in ways that are inappropriate or even harmful to themselves and others around them.
